There are many other services that are fully prepared to host a basic website without ever seeing the colour of your money.
If you want your own domain name, payment facilities and a large hunk of cyberspace, you will probably have to upgrade to a paid service. But for basic functionality on a personal blog or a simple business website, a free web hosting service is all you need.
